Frames, old and new

Then bennet with the new frame ...in the same state as when the body was taken off. Gas tank and lines, brake lines, muffler, skid plate, rear axle, rear springs are all installed.  Now comes the rebuilding of the front end. Need to find springs. And a shackle hanger. Then on to the steering.

Taking the body off

The first part of any project of this magnitude is getting the body off the old frame so you can move stuff to the new frame.  It took Dave and five others to do this job but it got done.  No injuries to people or the body either!!!!  These pictures were taken March 20th, 2011.

First Post

Good morning!  I am writing this blog in response to my Dad, he asks me when we talk on the phone or via email how Dave is doing on his jeep quite frequently.  I told Dave he should do a blog, his response was, "I don't have time," which of course is true.  So, I figured I could write the blog using the information that Dave gives me when he takes pictures of his progress.  I might throw in my own little comments here and there but for the most part what your going to be reading is coming straight from Dave.  We hope you enjoy watching the progress of Dave's most beloved Jeep being rebuilt to it's Jeep glory!
